Interviews and Illness

I am feeling a tad bit under the weather, but hopefully nothing too horrible. My good friend at school and her entire family have the stomach flu, and a guy that shares an office with us (our organizations share an office rather) is sick too...I'm hoping mine is just a bit of overtiredness mixed with alcohol withdrawal too much stuff to do and not enough time to do it. My interview this morning for fairly fab government job went well though, and I'm excited at the prospect of potentially getting an offer from them. I've talked to five people now from their office and every single one has seemed really cool and down to earth, traits that I great appreciate. Also, they laughed at all my jokes. They asked me "What's the one thing you hate most about law school?" and I said "Darn, I have the list right here and now I have to only pick one thing? That's so unfair" and they all chuckled. Overall though, it was good. And I owe a big fat thank you to my friend who let me use her apartment and phone for the interview. I do not have a home phone yet, partially out of laziness, and partially out of...well, totally out of laziness actually. Next interview, Thursday in San Francisco, for the much better paying, but not as "boys with guns" heavy as the D.C. job, uh job. [I apologize for that sentence. Deeply. -- ed.]. It's a tough call. Oh well, who knows, maybe neither one will offer me jack shit and I'll be back pounding the pavement and sending out resumes next week. *Sigh* I hope not.

So, I don't know if I'll get any miles in today, guess it depends how I'm feeling. But, due to my Evidence professor moving back the due dates of both our papers which were due next week, I have some breathing room. Hooray for actually having time to be sick.
