The title to this post is the constant refrain I heard from the kid sitting next to me at the fireworks...every time one would backlight the Washington Monument, the kid would go "Hey Mom, look, it looks like a pencil!" After the fiftieth time I wanted to be like "OHMYGOD, it looks like a pencil. You're SO RIGHT! SHUUUUUUUUT UP!!!"

Also overheard during the fireworks.

"I'm ENGAGED! I just got ENGAGED!"

and

"Shut up man, my grandmother was lynched!" (not kidding, Larry will back me up on this)
